Memeshift

Morgan (he/him, USA/DE) is a practice-based music researcher whose output sits in the experimental field between academia and club music. His work spans live electronic music, curation, lecture-workshops, panel discussions and the development of sample packs, tuning systems and other musical strategies to engage with materiality, diaspora, and the thoughtful resynthesis of new/traditional music. Morgan's music productions draw from an archipelagic range of influences and intrinsic reverence for experimental computer dance music that can be described as playful, abrasive, promiscuous, feral and eclectic. Last year, he released his debut album on Chinabot, which The Wire called "…a gently vaporous hulk of melancholia."
