Hahaha you press the button and it plays the shortcuts animation and does nothing. Absolutely amazing.
No idea if this actually works well, usual shortcuts caveats apply.
Action button for camera is the obvious best choice (for those without camera button) but I liked the idea of using it to make quick notes, and turns out I can have it both ways!
